Old Apple Tins

I found these at an estate sale.  They look so delicious!  They were posted on the treasury on Esty.

So it makes me kind of happy knowing my taste in stuff is not bad.  They had a third apple which was smaller but the lid was missing so I'm only selling these.

Summer's Over

Oh yeah!  My worst season is over.  It gets hot around here in the summer so I'm glad to see fall.  The kids had to put their pool away for the year and they were not too happy with that.

Ok, how funny to here by my best friend that these coasters look like breast pads for feeding mothers!  And  do you know what?  I think they do to. LOL!!!!!

Upcycled Coasters

I made these coasters out of colorful sheets.  Because I was itching to sew one day or I was going to go crazy.  I think they came out nice.  I even made a little pouch for them.  One set is bordered with bias tape made from the sheets and the other is serged with my overlock.  What do you all think?  I think I might give them away.  I just need to get the hang of blogging first (like how to set up a blog giveaway). 

1st post

I sit here at a local Whole Foods Market with two windows open on my computer and write while one of my daughters watches you tube on australian shepherds and as our australian shepherd sits here with us.  It is cloudy today which is fine with me because it gets hot here in the Central Valley of Calif.  Well there is my 1st post.  More to come.
